Please join us on Thursday, February 5th at 7:00 PM to hear former HLCC President Ethan Bradford share his knowledge and enthusiasm for Curling. Ethan is a member of the Granite Curling Club right in our neighborhood on North 128th. The club was founded in the 1950's, completed in 1961, and for many years was the only dedicated curling facility on the west coast, which has produced many national championship teams over the years. This is an Olympic year, and curling events will start on the first day of competition on Feb. 4th with GCC alumni Luc Violette and Ben Richardson joining Team USA. Ethan will teach us about curling and the history of the Granite Curling Club. There will be activity at the curling club the night of our meeting , and those who are interested can wander over after our meeting to watch for a bit. It is really cool to watch the curlers in person and gives a great appreciation of the skill required in this sport that goes back hundreds of years. Our social ½ hour starts at 7:00PM with the presentation at 7:30PM. Hope to see you there.

Both classes have the same content - Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED Certification. The two classes are different places, days, and times.

Haller Lake Community Dance
Second Saturday of the month,
6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Enjoy reels, circles, contra & square dances with LIVE music by local musicians! This is an open band, so musicians are welcome to play along. Dances are taught on-the-spot by caller Sherry Nevins. Everyone can join in – the dances are easy and fun for all ages, and no dance experience or partner is needed. Please bring your own drinking water and a snack to share if you would like.

Haller Lake Community Yoga
Every Tuesday 12 - 1 PM
Class taught by Jessica Brustad from The Funny Yogi. Lunch time community yoga for all ages (over 18) on Tuesdays at noon. All levels are welcome.
