The devastating hurricanes in the southeast are a reminder that there are things we can do now to protect ourselves and those we care about. Let's work to make our community more resilient.
Knowing your household is prepared can be so calming. You'll walk away from this class with solid guidance on the next four steps to take.
Learning how the community can/will support itself (until help can arrive) helps complete the picture. Haller Lake has an "Emergency Communication Hub". Learn what that is and how it works.

Please join us on Thursday December 5th to learn about the history of Evergreen Washelli Cemetery. Scott Sheehan, General Manager of Washelli, will speak about the history, from the 100 graves of Civil War soldiers to the many familiar Seattle pioneer families and other luminaries who reside there. Find out how it became the final resting place for hundreds of service members, including medal-of-honor winners whose amazing stories are engraved on their graves. How did it end up being on both sides of Aurora? How many Seattle streets are named after its residents? Hope to see you there, while we are still on “the right side of the grass”.
