Neighbor Day
Organized by:
Seattle NeighborhoodsNeighbor Day Returns Marking the 35th year!
National Neighbor Day returns on May 2, inviting Seattle residents to connect, celebrate, and show appreciation for the people who make their neighborhoods stronger. Observed annually across the city, Neighbor Day is a simple tradition with lasting impact: reach out to a neighbor, share a small act of kindness, and take a moment to strengthen the connections close to home.
Neighbor Day reflects that mission at its most personal level: neighbors showing up for one another.
Say hi!
Pick up trash on your block
Offer to help a neighbor
Hold the door for someone
Host a block party, potluck, or street clean-up

Candidates Meet and Greet
Get to know the faces on your ballot before the August primary. We will be hosting a Candidates Meet and Greet on Thursday May 7, at 7:00 PM. Unlike our formal "Candidates Night" in the fall, this will be a casual evening where you can go around to each of the Pre-Primary Candidates tables and talk to them one on one.
Ice Cream Social
Join us for our annual Ice Cream Social, with a twist. This year we will also have a silent auction, auctioning off an array of items and gift certificates from businesses all over Seattle. Check out our fundraiser page for a list of auction contributers. While enjoying your sweet treat, get competitive with our Haller Lake Trivia contest.
