Harvest PartyOctober 31, 2020 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Hello neighbors, we at HLCC miss you! Usually this time of year we are gearing up for our annual Harvest Party. Unfortunately, with COVID we cannot have one this year.
We are planning a drive through Trick or Treat! We will be giving out individually wrapped bags of candy while following socially distant recommendations. We will be wearing masks, face shields and gloves, and using clean trays between vehicles to distribute the candy bags on. Drive up, let us know how many people in the car and get a Halloween treat! There will be a separate area for grab-and-go walk-ups as well. Costumes are encouraged but not required. We'll also be collecting non-perishable food items for North Helpline.

Holiday Drive-ThruDecember 12, 2020 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Hello neighbors, we at HLCC miss you! Usually this time of year we are gearing up for our annual Holiday Party. Unfortunately, we cannot gather this year due to COVID-19.
We are planning a drive through Holiday Event! We will be giving out individually wrapped candy canes and collecting letters for Santa while following King County COVID-19 guidance. Please wear a mask. You'll find our volunteers also in masks, face shields, and gloves.
Follow the signs to our drive-thru station, let us know how many people are in the vehicle and we'll load up a tray with your candy canes! Don't forget to pass us your note to Mr. Claus, as well as any donations you may have. While the event is free, the following donations will be accepted:
Haller Lake Community Club is sponsoring numerous Northgate Elementary School students and families to provide holiday presents. This year we are collecting gift cards for safe and easy gifting. Gift card ideas include pre-loaded visa or mastercards, and nearby open retailers at Northgate Mall or Northgate North (Target, Best Buy etc.), as well as local grocery stores including Safeway, Sprout or QFC. Many stores offer curbside pick-up options, and some gift cards can even be purchased online and printed at home, or delivered through amazon.com.
We will also be accepting nutritious shelf stable food donations for our local food bank, North Helpline. Ideas include; canned fruits/vegetables/soups/meats, coffee, rice, beans, nut butters, pastas, cereals, snack bars, and pet food. Haller Lake Community Club volunteers will deliver the food to the shelter the following week.We hope to see you there!
