Light rail service is on the horizon for the Haller Lake neighborhood with construction of the Lynnwood Link extension expected to get underway later this spring. As part of planning process, the City of Seattle is beginning their community outreach for the areas around the stations. I’d like to encourage all Haller Lake residents to attend the City’s initial open house meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 6 to 8pm at Ingraham High School. The construction of two light rail stations in such close proximity to our neighborhood has the opportunity to be transformative for our area. This is a unique opportunity for our community to come together and advocate for what we want to see in our neighborhood. Now is the time to bring our ideas, big and small, whether it be safer routes for pedestrians/cyclists, more neighborhood businesses, neighborhood banners, etc.

If you are unable to attend, there is an online survey that you can complete here:

Hope to see you all there!
