Hello Haller Lake neighbors,
I wanted to take a minute to tell you about a new proposed development in our neighborhood and our opportunity to weigh in. The property is the Lincoln Towing lot generally bounded by 125th to the north, Stone Ave N to the east, the Puetz driving range to the south, and existing businesses on Aurora Ave to the west. The property excludes the gas station and pot shop at the northwest corner. The developer’s preferred option is to construct fourteen 3-story townhouse buildings with 125 total units. Two additional options are presented as well – one including 20% live/work units along 125th and one proposing a mixed use (commercial at ground level and residential above) building at the corner of 125th and Stone. The early design review meeting will be held at 8pm on March 19th at the Ballard Community Center (Sunset Room). Here is link to the design proposal:
Members of the Haller Lake Community Club will be in attendance and we’d love for others from the neighborhood to join us so that we can help make sure that the development incorporates the needs of our community. If you are unable to attend and have comments, feel free to email me at . You can also send comments directly to the city through March 16th at .
